APMC wished to have a site that could be used to introduce the company and its holdings to potential investors. A person looking for investment vehicles looks for strength and potential for upward growth. Their previous web site, shown below, was not viewed as the best vehicle for that purpose.
The new site was planned to communicate strength in both properties and management talent. Bolder colors were employed, as was a clearer horizontal and vertical navigation system, appearing consistently on every page. New content included descriptions and the locations of properties, characteristics of individual hotels, and summary charts comparing the different properties. The client also wanted an attractive presentation of hotels should a possible paying guest visit the web site. Flash is used on the front page, but as a component in a HTML page. |
